What is Medical Imaging?
Medical imaging is a discipline focused on the analysis of the information provided by tests and diagnoses based on precise images that are useful to other medical specialties. This discipline therefore allows the corresponding specialist to collect all necessary information that initially could not be obtained with the naked eye. The images are two-dimensional, but portray a three-dimensional part of the patient’s body.
